What we do

AM Marketing Group Pty Ltd matches Australian homeowners with one local tradie suited to their job. We check each tradie's licence, insurance and ABN, and we draw on reviews from completed jobs. We're an introduction service. We don't carry out the work ourselves.

Free for homeowners

Using needatradie to find a tradie is free for homeowners. You only ever pay your tradie for the work they do. We're never a party to that payment.

The work is between you and your tradie

Any quote, contract, work and payment is directly between you and the tradie you choose. We're not responsible for the work itself, and we don't guarantee a particular price or outcome. Always check the quote, ask questions, and make sure you're comfortable before money changes hands. Our free guides can help.

Our checks

We take real steps to verify each tradie, but our checks are a starting point, not a warranty. We can't promise any tradie will be perfect for every job. We'd always encourage you to do your own checks too, which is exactly what our guides are for.

Using the site fairly

Please use needatradie for genuine enquiries only. Don't misuse the site, submit false details, or use it to send unsolicited marketing. We may decline or remove access if the site is misused.

Prices and information

Any price ranges on the site are indicative guides, not quotes. Real prices depend on your job. We work hard to keep information accurate, but we can't promise everything is complete or up to date at all times.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for any loss arising from the work a tradie does or doesn't do, or from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always live on this page.
